Hello readers, old and new. It's time for me to participate in my first Sew Mama Sew giveaway day. I love scraps so I thought I would give away a big bag of scraps so you can do something fun with them.
The scraps are all designer fabrics leftover from making this quilt top:

Most of the pieces are irregular and pretty small. They would be perfect for making wonky star blocks.
But it is a really big bag. 13.2oz. I weighed it!
To enter: please leave me a comment the name of your favorite book or a current read that you love. If you just want to comment on ze fabrics I guess that is OK too. This give-a-way is only open to US residents only until December 7th at 5pm PST (3pm CST). Winner will be chosen by Mister Random.org.
Check out all the other entries here and good luck!

P&P right now :)
ReplyDeleteHey, Marla! My favorite quilt book is collaborative quilts, written by Freddy Moran and Gwen Marston. Fabulous! (A note on cats...my younger daughter says that cats will be as much or as little as you want them to be. She has a friend who has a very unexciting cat -- but then her friend thinks, "I have an apartment, so I need a cat." Period!) See if you can coax some excitment out of those fur people - I have never had more than 1 less than brilliant cat among my 2 or 3 cats...and the less than brilliant one was SO affectionate! Happy holidays!

ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything in a loooooong time, so I guess I will just have to comment on the fabrics and your beautiful quilt made from them. I don't have many scraps because I haven't been quilting that long and don't have a huge budget, so I'd give them a great, albeit uneducated home for them. I can expose them to my son, who reads so much sometimes I have to stop him from reading and push him outdoors. Thanks!
